At the 2013 Nishikigoi show held in Japan, the largest and most prolific Nishikigoi show in the world, a splendid 9 year old, 98cm Kohaku owned by Mr Hartono Sukwanto, bred by the Sakai Fish Farm, was crowned All Japan Grand Champion. The 2013 Grand Champion is the same Koi as the 2011 Grand Champion, but with a different owner. The Grand Champion Kohaku was fed and grown using Saki Hikari as its primary diet.  This is the 10^th consecutive All Japan Grand Champion to be raised on the world’s most technologically advanced Koi diets, extending the brands uninterrupted winning streak which began in 2003 (no show was held in 2004).

Four different diets make up the Saki-Hikari range - Balance, Colour, Growth and Multi-Season.  Balance is an excellent daily diet which promotes health, growth & desirable form.  A unique blend of the finest quality proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids & fats provides the perfect balance of ingredients for fat-deposit-free growth.  Rich in pure-cultured Spirulina and Zeazanthin, Colour promotes vivid colour enhancement of the Hiban (red areas) without negatively impacting on the Shiroji (white areas).  Growth includes a specific blend of lipids and other nutritional components to meet the natural omnivorous requirements of Nishikigoi promoting outstanding growth and championship form.  Multi-Season is an easily assimilated, highly digestible daily diet that not only provides excellent growth but also colour enhancement even during the colder months
